Medicinal Garden

Last year, after reading Herbal Antibiotics and Herbal Antivirals by Stephen Buhner and attending an in-person Medicinal Herbs course in Glacier National Park, we decided to plant a medicinal garden. We only used native plants, which we purchased at a local native plant greenhouse. I wanted to be able to look at the plants everyday, to learn what they looked like in each season so I could better identify them in the wild. Here's what we planted!:

Oregon Grape
Bedstraw
Golden Current
Thimbleberry
Wax Current
Goldenrod
Beebalm
Echinacea
Stonecrop
Self-Heal
Yarrow
Pearly Everlasting
Skullcap
Parsnip-flowered Buckwheat
Lavender (at the back of the house)
